“The Vault at 900 Main” named for the old bank building that resided on the property, is a 30 unit, 4 story residential building located at the corner of 9th Avenue and Main Street in Belmar, NJ. The building’s structure is made up of wood framing for the upper 3 floors, which are supported by a 12” thick concrete podium slab at the first floor parking/retail level. Because of soil conditions and proximity to the ocean the entire structure is supported by mixture of helical and timber pilings. These pilings were installed using methods to minimize vibration along with continuous vibration monitoring due to the close proximity of other existing structures.
The interior living spaces for all 30 units have been constructed to include contemporary kitchens with stainless steel appliances, stacked in-unit washer/dryers and ceramic tile showers or tubs. All units have individual balconies, and residents share access to a an amenities patio located on the 4th floor which included outdoor furniture and hookups for natural gas grills.
